If you are a film or TV producer, corporate or music video client, or tourist needing a local photographer, and are seeking an innovative production company, Starland Studios is it!
Starland provides crew, from producer, director, writer, management, location scout, art department and production assistants, to camera operator, animal wrangler, stunt coordinator, drone pilot, and safety, fire, and military experts; and is able to provide post-production including video and audio editing, titles, graphics, special FX and soundtracks. What Starland does not have, it will source and provide.
Starland is situated on a hilltop overlooking a scenic coulee on ten acres with ample ‘Circus’ parking. It has a fenced compound with electric enclosures currently housing two Timber Wolf mates, Timber and Summer, and wildlife as necessary that we may arrange to book, transport, house, train, rehearse and perform. It also provides animals such as dogs, cats, horses, cows, bison, and other species.
The facilities have: offices, reception area, 42’ x 30’ shop with construction and mechanical equipment, 35’ x 33’ barn and various buildings with landscaping tools, specialized safety gear, props, and materials. For transportation, there are 4WD work and crew trucks, travel and equipment trailers, bikes, and boats.
Besides providing services to others, Starland produces its own projects in house and has abilities to provide consulting, research, development, funding, distribution, marketing and social media for clients.
Known as the world’s dinosaur capital and home of the famous Tyrell Museum, Drumheller is centrally located in the unique geography of the Canadian Badlands and is one of Canada’s top film locations.
The valley has a wide variety of landscape in its fields, coulees, forests, deserts, and urban areas, that are unique or double as locations in places ranging from the US and Arctic to Europe and Middle East.
Drumheller is an hour and a quarter drive North East from Calgary, and its International Airport, and has a local airport. Fifteen minutes North of Drumheller off Highway #56 is Starland Studios location.
