Bill Blayney

Bill graduated in Environmental Science from Lethbridge College in Alberta. After that he took a 4-year Zoo Apprenticeship Program (the only one in the world) and received a Diploma in Zookeeping from the City of Calgary.

Since then he worked for thirty-one years as a zookeeper at the Calgary Zoo and cared for all animals in their exhibits, except elephants. He started out and retired caring for his specialty, giraffes. 

He is currently assisting Wildlife Wranglers as keeper of wolves and dogs, and in future more species…
