Lothar Malmberg

Lothar Malmberg was born at an early age in Papua, New Guinea; the son of a carpenter and a magician. The call of the road was already in his blood, when, at the age of two, he was found two miles from his home walking toward the airport! He was following in his father’s footsteps and magic was calling him when he finally picked up his wand at the age of 9 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Besides being a craftsman and finishing carpenter, Lothar has performed globally – in Jamaica, the USA, England and Canada. His is even a household name in Germany (he has family there!). Currently, Lothar performs through such well-known characters as Gandalf the Wizard, Dumbledore the Headmaster, a Viking Shaman and a Medieval Magician, as well as himself. He also hosts and leads a guided Ghost Walk Tour in Drumheller, Alberta, bringing its past back to life.
